Autumn in New York

Autumn in New York

We had no need to call it anything
No future plans no holding strings
So that when I miss you it won’t hurt
I’ll see you again autumn in New York

At first I kicked myself for shadowed lines
I wasn’t your’s and you weren’t mine
I thought I was wasting time
Turns out our reason had no rhyme

We had no need to call it anything
No future plans no chasing dreams
So now when I miss you it doesn’t hurt
I’ll see you soon autumn in New York
