Margate

Margate

Margate midnight London breeze
How we spent my last night just you and me
But when the months move so slowly
It starts to feel like you don’t know me
Anymore
Its been so long since we found love on the shore

And I can still feel your heart beat sometimes
Like it’s pressed up against to mine
I’m searching for the spark in your eyes
Wonder if you catch the dim light in mines
Why’s it harder to find that love again
Maybe it’s buried in the beach sand

Met on a Wednesday we chat up
Left late on that Sunday already in love
It’s still comfortable when you hold me
And it feel like home when you make me cuppa tea
Like before
I’m starting to think that I could love you more

And I can still feel your heart beat sometimes
Like it’s pressed up against to mine
I’m searching for the spark in your eyes
Wonder if you catch the dim light in mines
Why’s it harder to find that love again
Maybe it’s buried in the beach sand

Let’s work harder to find that love again
Cause it’s buried in the beach sand
