Cross Country Road Trip

Cross Country Road Trip

West coast born but mama taught us southern hospitality
First concert daddy took me to was K.T. Oslin and Randy
I’m from daddys boots and mamas high heels
A muddy Arkansas road where I learned to ride on two wheels

I fished with my grandpa on the banks of California
You can’t believe everything you’ve heard I know they tried to warn ya

Cause I’ve got Oklahoma in my veins Louisiana in my bones
But call the whole country home
Cause this girl was raised on a cross country road trip
Red Georgia clay on my boots that’s just how I like it

Yeah us California girls see we love the water
But I want my ice cold sweet tea when the weather get hotter
I’ll head down to Mississippi for a family reunion
Then up to Kentucky for some good season shooting

Just gonna blow like the tumble weeds over in Arizona
So try to catch me if you can yeah you know you wanna

Cause I’ve got Oklahoma in my veins Louisiana in my bones
But call the whole country home
Cause this girl was raised on a cross country road trip
Red Georgia clay on my boots that’s just how I like it

I like a man that likes to take long drives out of the city
Maybe even serenade me with a little Keith Whitley
I like them tall played football corn fed country boys
That can grab a guitar and make a lot of noise

Tennessee is taunting me got Nashville under my skin
Just wondering when I’m gonna jump in
So hop in the truck If you know whats up
And everywhere we go we’re rocking country radio

Cause I’ve got Oklahoma in my veins Louisiana in my bones
But call the whole country home
Cause this girl was raised on a cross country road trip
Red Georgia clay on my boots that’s just how I like it
Cause this girl was raised on a cross country road trip
